Frequent Asked Questions

How do they work?

RailScapes plant holders work through a combination of tension and grip

How do you install RailScapes? Attach one side at a time. Do not install both sides at the same time. Place the first side around a rail at the desired height and then bend the second side with both hands between and around the adjacent rail. Do not skip a rail.

Do I need the rubbers for RailScapes? Yes and no. The rubbers provide support to hold the weight and protect against scratches on the posts. You do not need them if you are attaching plants to the base of the railing.

How can I increase or decrease the tension? RailScapes are incredibly flexible. Gently pull the arms apart to restore or increase tension. Push them together to reduce tension. This is useful for railing posts that are closer or further than 10 cm apart.

What should I do if my RailScapes slip? Place two rubbers on top of each other (one on top of the other). This will strengthen the grip around the rails.
